Continuing along with our embroidery stitches and the embroidery flower theme this is a great little stitch as well. It has so much potential and uses in embroidery.

You can use two colours as well, so you use a second colour thread to anchor the petal as you can see from the picture on the right. And you can use this stitch as a ground stitch and fill in the petals too.
