Welcome to my stitchery blog.
I would like to think that whilst you are here with me you enjoy my whimsical world of sewing and all things vintage.
I adore treasure hunting for old fabrics, buttons, threads and stitchery goods ... One mans rubbish is another's treasure. Creating is in my soul and I hope that comes across within these pages.
I love creating, nature and herbal teas ... Cinnamon being my new favourite!
So why not stay a while and join me on this journey of creativity.

Needle Felted Pumpkin Tutorial 2: The Face by Sarafina Fiber Art
This is the second in the series of making pumpkins....... I myself have now made one. I have enjoyed it thoroughly as it showed me how to achieve a face as well as everything else.
This is my first attempt at modelling felt
He is not a bad little chap!
I am going to make some more of these and will decorate with them on Halloween this year in the front windows..... I think they are charming creatures. The next one I make will have a orange face.
I have started making a teddy bear now.... now I am playing with the big boys of felting, as you know and have made Bonnie the bear....
So give it a go. Enjoy the second part of the pumpkin tutorial, as quirky as the first and then there is one more for the finishing touches.... all worth a watch.
