This is a great tutorial for silk ribbon tulips.... You can combine this technique with embroidery thread flowers with great effect.
This lady is putting the design on fabrics she has crazy quilted to embellish it. The only limitation is your imagination!
It is very easy to do tulips and you can buy the needles and ribbon from any good haberdashery or on line as well.
I thought I might incorporate some in my next design.....
