Sampler complete and thoughts of stitching for summer....

Good morning all

Well I finished the sampler and it's ready to go to a framer.  I did not finish early it took longer(finished at 7pm) but it is always best to be precise and careful and pleased with the results, especially as this will be in print later on. This sampler has taken a little over 40 hours, that based on eight hour days is nearly 5 days in all.  It has been a pleasure and I have really enjoyed it.

So today is about thoughts of summer! I have cut my piece of vintage French linen and I managed to press it yesterday, c'est tout!

So today I will be looking at the fabrics that I had in mind and pressing those and then drawing on the linen and then cutting out the fabric  to place onto the linen.  I enjoy all the processes of getting a project ready to start.

I hope to stitch  some of the saying today at least and then it will be on its way.....

I am happy to run this with my hare designs and it is really lovely to have a couple of projects on the go.

I wonder what you are stitching? Have a wonderful day and enjoy...

Happy Stitching...
