Welcome to a slow stitcher and vintage lovers blog where all things are possible and whimsical. Creating is in my soul and so is treasure hunting for gorgeous old fabrics, buttons, linens & threads. There is something about truffling at vintage fairs for beautiful haberdashery and fabric. I adore the seasons, the hygge & cosy of Winter, the awakening of Spring, the changes of colours and crunching of leaves in Autumn and the bees, butterflies and ocean sounds of Summer. Enjoy XX

Pattern Darning by Moms Embroidery
Good Morning!
Well it has to be said .. Remember Remember the 5th of November, gun powder, treason and plot!
If you are having fireworks tonight be safe and and enjoy. I myself do not like them that much because of being an animal lover I think they go on for too long. All through from October I have heard them and that will continue until January. I prefer the organised events as I know it is safer so if you are heading out or having a party at home .. Enjoy.
For now how about watching this great tutorial on pattern darning and see what can be achieved. Why not make a warm drink and enjoy. Do not forget you can weave in and out too.... Take a look at this 1810 example .. stunning work.
Have a fabulous weekend and can you believe its November already? no I can not either!
Happy Stitching! XX
