Buttons and patches and the cold wind blowing..
.the days pass quickly when I am sewing!
Whilst sorting my stitching baskets and containers out with the items I need to complete each project, I was sorting through my vintage ribbons and threads (above ... well this is a drop in the ocean really!) I was trying to decide on blues and greens for the mermaid sampler that I have designed. As you know I am patiently( well trying to be patient) for some stunning paisley fabric I have ordered for the sampler......
It is a little difficult without the piece of fabric in front of you but the above is what I have come up with so far and I have also sorted the embroidery hand dyed threads as well.
The interesting thing will be when the fabric arrives is if I was near the mark at all OR not even close to the colours contained within its most wonderful weave! We shall see. As promised I will put a photo up when my precious fabric arrives.....
