What to do with small scraps of vintage fabric.....

Good morning all

Well with my wonderful vintage fabric stash ( I do not tuck it up in bed at night, but not far off!) I really can not bare to waste any.  Literally only shavings.

Well there a few things that you can do with them.

I make heart shape yo yo's.

Or put scraps and buttons and notions onto a plain luggage label to make a really beautiful tag for gifts.

Or cover a button....

Or make a little heart or circle and make into a key fob for your house, garden shed, summer house.

Make a small collage of different fabrics with different textures and add bits of felted fabric buttons and lace.....

And there is always the old saying..... When life throws you scraps, make a quilt?... 
So how's about a tiny quilt for a doll for a little girl you know.  Or a tiny quilt to give to the babies born prematurely at your local hospital....

But whatever you do ..... I beg.... do not throw them away.  Keep all scraps in a clear box with a secure lid and on a rainy day, make something wonderful with left over bits and bobs.
