Today sees me putting together a collage of vintage fabrics, buttons and embroidery and hand stitching to make a collage like picture, well continuing with it....
I will be rummaging through all my lovely new fabrics and lace bits...... hard job but it must be done! :))) ( will I wonder get any work done once I open Aladdin's cave, in my case a chest of drawers)
I can while away hours if not careful, putting this with that and cooing over the contents and my stash! I must stay focused!!!
On a personal note, this weekend I am changing our bedroom round ( it has to be done) I have to wait for the weekend when my husband is about, as lugging a king size iron bed about on your own is a sure thing for backache!
But once done I will be gathering my precious vintage goodies ready to be sewing next week. I will let you know the outcome with some up to date pictures..... It should be ready for the framers by Tuesday.
I have lots ( well a.. no lots, honesty is the best) of vintage goodies to incorporate and as I have said before, why keep these treasures in drawers away from sight, when they can become a thing of beauty once more and go on show again to be admired.
