Happy Valentines to you all ... Here's some vintage fair dates for you!

Love’s Philosophy

The fountains mingle with the river
   And the rivers with the ocean,
The winds of heaven mix for ever
   With a sweet emotion;
Nothing in the world is single;
   All things by a law divine
In one spirit meet and mingle.
   Why not I with thine?—

See the mountains kiss high heaven
   And the waves clasp one another;
No sister-flower would be forgiven
   If it disdained its brother;
And the sunlight clasps the earth
   And the moonbeams kiss the sea:
What is all this kissing worth
   If thou kiss not me?

    1. Laura we should meet up at a Frome one its not too bad from Wales ( there are some stall holders live there -- not sure its as far into Wales as you though I guess) my sense of distance is rubbish.

      You could bring the kiddies as well ..

      Thank you for your kind words ... I love words you see and I am always collecting them, be it in poems or sayings/quotes.
      My greatest love as far as a poet is Shelley closely followed by Byron so it had to be quoted!

      Hope you are all well.
