Off to Deans Court in Wimborne .... To a vintage textile fair!

Good morning all!

Well tomorrow is the day of the vintage textile fair at Deans Court in Wimborne Dorset.  Wimborne is not that far from me and this is an annual event at one of the most beautiful houses and grounds that Dorset has to offer.  It is privately owned and only opens its doors to the public several times of year for certain events and this, is one of them!

There will be some great names of vintage there and I know that The Washerwoman is there and so is Donna Flower!..... Oh dear I am undone!!

The textile fair is held in a marque in the grounds and they also open up a coffee shop in a little basement type room in the house on the side and there is a veranda outside to sit if the weather is nice as well....

I have a little list of things that I require but as yet I have never stuck to just the list I am afraid.  Until you get there you really do not know what will be on offer and as I have said before being that it is vintage, its a one time thing mostly.... So I go prepared to bring back something wonderful.

I will be taking pictures as usual and I will let you all know what it was like later in the week.  I will get some stitching done today as Wimborne is not far as I say so by late lunchtime I will be back home again and will get a few hours in.  Wish me luck!
