Happy Christmas!

Happy Christmas to you all!

I would just like to wish you all a wonderful time.  I feel you have to be careful because for some this is a lonely time but hope that whatever you are doing over the next few days that is is peaceful and happy.

Thank you to all my regular readers of my blog for your support and encouragement along the way.  To my members who always comment or email me, it means an awful lot to me knowing you are out there reading my ramblings and sharing my excitements along the way.

If any of you have any suggestions about my blog please email me homespunstitchworks@yahoo.com I would love to hear any thoughts that you may have.  I will still continue with book reviews and stitch of the week (until the stitch library runs out!) and of course bringing you all news on any vintage fairs for 2015.

My blog will be back on the Monday 5th of January, giving me a little break and to tidy after Christmas... I will be back with lots of news of up and coming publications and any new designs that I may show you before hand.

Happy Christmas and may your stockings be filled with lots
of vintage stitchery goodies......

Let it snow!

Silent Night

Silent night, holy night!
All is calm, all is bright.
Round yon Virgin, Mother and Child.
Holy infant so tender and mild,
Sleep in heavenly peace,
Sleep in heavenly peace

Silent night, holy night!
Shepherds quake at the sight.
Glories stream from heaven afar
Heavenly hosts sing Alleluia,
Christ the Savior is born!
Christ the Savior is born

Silent night, holy night!
Son of God love's pure light.
Radiant beams from Thy holy face
With dawn of redeeming grace,
Jesus Lord, at Thy birth
Jesus Lord, at Thy birth

  1. There is something in particular about truffling at vintage fairs for wonderful haberdashery and texture. I worship the seasons, the hygge and comfortable of Winter, the enlivening of Spring, Write My Dissertation Online the progressions of tones and crunching of leaves in Autumn and the honey bees, butterflies and sea hints of Summer.
