My favourite Season!

Fall has always been my favourite season. The time when everything
bursts with its last beauty as if nature had been saving
up all year for the grand finale!!

Lauren DeStefano

That quote is so correct!  also the simple pleasure of cooking Autumnal foods as well. Pumpkin soup, pumpkin breads and muffins and a most scrummy pumpkin cheesecake that is to drool over!

On a crisp Autumn day to walk through our forests and stare in wonder at the changing leaves and the chestnut trees starting to get heavy with their delicious bounty!

I would like to do a Sampler for our home that we get out at this time of year.  I have been looking for just the right fabrics and I have already designed this bespoke piece of fabric art for us.

I think it can come out in September and go away in December ready to hang a Christmas one in its place, if I can bare to wrap it up?

I am going to the pick your own later to get some pumpkins for cooking... before they are all bought to carve.

I have an amazing wall hanging for this time of year bought in America with a basket of apples appliqued on it and it makes the room look cosy and inviting with the open fire light dancing around the room.

I am away to my stitching room now and I have some Christmas stitching to finish so I must get on with it......  Also I must tidy my stash of paisleys as I was looking for some the other day and it got a bit re-arranged in the process.

Have a wonderful day and Happy Stitching!
