Welcome to a slow stitcher and vintage lovers blog where all things are possible and whimsical. Creating is in my soul and so is treasure hunting for gorgeous old fabrics, buttons, linens & threads. There is something about truffling at vintage fairs for beautiful haberdashery and fabric. I adore the seasons, the hygge & cosy of Winter, the awakening of Spring, the changes of colours and crunching of leaves in Autumn and the bees, butterflies and ocean sounds of Summer. Enjoy XX

Meet Sizzix Designer Kaari Meng of French General
Good Morning
Well here is something a little different .. This is Kaari Meng of French General. She is the owner and designer and her fabrics are based on vintage designs plus she has started getting vintage things into her shop in LA and has a website too,
Kaari makes jewellery from vintage beads and buttons and also goes to France every year around the brocante's and markets.... This is the lady who actually got me interested years ago in vintage.
Have a look and enjoy... You can have a little look around her shop in this piece of film.
She has designed die cutters for fabrics so this is very interesting to those of us who love applique ......
Have a great weekend ..... I am off to the Sarah Moore vintage pop up today. I will report back next week for you all.
Happy Stitching!
